Experience at the intersection of expertise, technology, and project delivery
I am an independent senior advisor in financial services, with particular depth in capital markets, trading, and treasury. For more than 18 years, I have worked with banks, financial institutions, and other organizations across the financial sector in Germany, Switzerland, and other European countries on complex change and IT initiatives where business requirements, platform technology, and project delivery come together.
My profile combines analysis and design with operational responsibility. I can structure a challenging topic, develop requirements and solution options, and just as readily lead or oversee the resulting delivery. Depending on the engagement, I work as a project lead, Scrum Master, business analyst, or test manager, among other roles.
What matters to me is not just formally filling a role but making a concrete contribution to the project outcome: creating clarity, bringing stakeholders together, preparing decisions, and reliably driving delivery forward.
Beyond the functional and operational work, I also bring commercial experience and leadership capability: building trusted client relationships with senior decision-makers, taking commercial responsibility for client portfolios, and building and developing cross-functional teams.
Our industry is increasingly being shaped by AI-enabled approaches: in analysis, testing, documentation, and prototyping, modernization work can now move noticeably faster. I use these tools deliberately to deliver not only strategic and architectural outcomes but also concrete work products, prototypes, and demonstrations. Beyond that, I also advise companies on introducing AI applications of their own, from assessing AI readiness through to implementing initial use cases.

Advising banks and financial institutions on complex transformation and modernization initiatives in capital markets, trading, and treasury, from program and project leadership through business and data analysis to trading system migrations, test management, and cloud migration of market infrastructure. Long-standing commercial and functional responsibility for client relationships and delivery across several banking and capital markets accounts in DACH, the UK, and with a global asset manager, including account and P&L responsibility for the client portfolio: cloud migrations of trading and data platforms, enterprise integration platforms, content management and digital experience platforms, regulatory reporting, and reconciliation frameworks. Built trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, built and led cross-functional delivery teams, and established strategic alliance partnerships for the DACH market.
From Consultant to Managing Principal, Capital Markets

Nearly eleven years progressing from Consultant to Managing Principal in the capital markets practice: leading front-to-back system migrations (including Murex implementations), reconciliation and validation frameworks, front-office and risk-controlling transformations, and cloud enablement for trading platforms. Built and led a central software development factory for the trading platform of a German bank; led the front-office and reconciliation workstreams on a multi-year core system implementation program for a Finnish pension fund. Coached and trained internal colleagues in consulting, leadership, front office, and reconciliation.
