I am an independent senior advisor focused on capital markets, trading, and treasury topics. For more than 18 years, I have worked for banks and financial institutions in Germany, Switzerland, the UK, and the Nordics on complex change and IT initiatives where business requirements, platform technology, and project delivery come together.
My profile combines analysis and design with operational responsibility. I can structure a difficult topic, work out requirements and solution options, and just as readily lead or steer the resulting delivery. Depending on the mandate, I work as a project lead, Scrum Master, business analyst, or test manager, among other roles.
What matters to me is not just formally filling a role but making a concrete contribution to the project outcome: creating clarity, bringing stakeholders together, preparing decisions, and reliably driving delivery forward.
The shift in our industry is increasingly shaped by AI-supported approaches: in analysis, testing, documentation, and prototyping, modernization work can now be noticeably accelerated. I use these possibilities deliberately to deliver not only strategic and architectural outcomes but also concrete work products, prototypes, and demonstrations. Beyond that, I also advise companies on introducing AI applications themselves, from assessing AI readiness through to implementing initial use cases.

From Consultant to Managing Principal, Capital Markets

Nearly eleven years progressing from Consultant to Managing Principal in the capital markets practice: leading front-to-back system migrations (including Murex implementations), reconciliation and validation frameworks, front-office and risk-controlling transformations, and cloud enablement for trading platforms. Built and steered a central software development factory for the trading platform of a German bank; led the front-office and reconciliation workstreams on a multi-year core system implementation program for a Finnish pension fund. Coached and trained internal colleagues in consulting, leadership, front office, and reconciliation.
